Phonak Hearing Aids
Custom-made from titanium
Virto B-Titanium is custom-made to fit perfectly in your ear. It’s made from the high-tech material titanium which makes it incredibly strong, light and durable.
Virto B-Titanium is the smallest Phonak hearing aid ever. It is so discreet, that nobody will see how well you hear.
Virto B-Titanium features AutoSense OS™. It adapts simply to every sound environment automatically for excellent hearing performance everywhere. There is no need to manually adjust the hearing aids.
Titanium is renowned for its strength and durability
Being 15 times stronger than acrylic, it makes it possible to build a shell as thin as 0.2 mm, which is 50% thinner than the existing shells of our custom hearing aids. With a significantly thinner shell and 60% smaller electronic components, we are able to reduce the size of Virto B-Titanium by up to 26% compared to its predecessor. IIC fit rate has been significantly improved by 64% compared to the previous generations of our smallest custom products.
Properties of titanium make it possible to build on even more discreet hearing aid. In fact it is the smallest ever custom product from Phonak.
New AutoSense OS
Further enhanced with an innovative pre-calculation, the new AutoSense OS features the adaptive SoundRecover2 and a new way to treat expansion for better soft speech intelligibility.
In addition symmetrical gain settings for asymmetrical hearing loss provides more comfort for first-time users.
These set the foundation for the new AutoSense OS and place it in a class of its own for operating systems currently available on the market.
SoundRecover2 - Hearing high-frequency sounds
As hearing loss increases, the new SoundRecover2 improves high-frequency speech audibility by utilizing its adaptive frequency lowering algorithm that is only applied when the level of hearing loss requires it. Sound quality of mid and low frequencies is maintained while high-frequency sounds are made audible.
Symmetrical gain - Improved hearing comfort
For first-time hearing aid users who have an asymmetrical hearing loss, it can sometimes feel uncomfortable having sound amplified to the level required in the weaker hearing ear.
Phonak has created an algorithm that takes into account the difference in hearing between each ear. The result is it prescribes slightly less gain for the worse hearing ear at first fit and the benefit is significantly more comfort for the new user without compromising speech intelligibility.
